What kind of activities does Troop 5 do?
Each June the senior Scouts in the Troop who
serve on the TLC (“Troop Leadership Council”) and the Scoutmaster and Assistant
Scoutmasters meet and select where they want Troop 5 to camp or what activities
they would like Troop 5 to do the following school year. Some popular
destinations make it on the list each year and new places or activities are
always added. Most important for you, this means the Troop 5 calendar is set by
the beginning of September for the entire year.
Following is a list of
destinations and activities Troop 5 has recently done or is planning for this
year: Boston, Gettysburg, Appalachian Mountain Trail, Delaware Water Gap, U.S.
